Store Policies


Here at ScientificallyCrafty we have a few policies:

Orders may take 1-2 weeks to be put together, packaged and shipped. Any delays beyond this time frame will be communicated.

Processing times are different than shipping times! If you purchase expedited shipping that only applies to the shipping time itself. This does not accelerate our processing time. If you are needing something shipped by a certain date please contact us before purchasing.

Our scrunchies are handmade with the intended purpose of being used as a hair-tie, when made we use a standard elastic size that fits most hair types. We recognize that not all hair types are the same, should you need a larger elastic size or a smaller one please leave that as a comment at checkout or sent in a message with your order number attached and we will do our best to accommodate your request. 

Mini scrunchies are a set size and cannot be changed.

We do not do returns, exchanges or refunds. Should there be an issue with your order do not hesitate to reach out as we will do our best to make your experience a positive one.

For sanitary purposes we do not do returns or exchanges.

If you place an order with an incorrect item, incorrect quantity, or incorrect shipping address please reach out immediately. Your order will be cancelled out and you will have to re-place the order with the correct information. This is done to ensure that your order is put together properly and sent to right place.

Once your order has been shipped we are no longer responsible for it. We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our primary method of shipment and we are not responsible for shipment times or handling of the packages once delivered into their possession.

If there is an issue with your package, please contact us. We are happy to work through a solution to remedy any issues.

International orders may experience longer shipment times and waiting periods as packages travel through customs. This also includes any duties or customs that may need to be paid in order for you to pick up your package; these costs are beyond our control and are set by the country themselves.

I am not responsible for orders placed with the wrong shipping address. If you have not reached out to correct the wrong address prior to shipping I am not responsible for miss-delivered or un-delirvable orders. If the order is sent back to me an email will be sent to the provided email for the order stating that we have received your returned package. In order for us to resend the order you will need to pay for shipping again. You have 30 days from the email to claim the package, whether this is paying for it to be resent or having the item(s) amounts refunded back to you minus the cost of shipping; after this time period any refund or resent order is forfeited.

Handmade items are all unique and will have variations from one piece to the next. This may include small flaws or imperfections.
